Songwriting

(Grades 7-8 / 45 min / 7-week series)

Proudly presented by Phoenix Conservatory of Music.

Come and explore the colors of feeling and emotions while learning about the creative world of music by learning the fundamentals of songwriting, including lyric techniques (rhyme, alliteration, simile, metaphor), melody creation, basic song structure, and hooks while expressing their own ideas in a fun and collaborative environment.  

Dates: 6/3, 6/10, 6/17, 6/24, 7/1, 7/8, 7/15

Registrants are expected to attend all seven weeks. Please register teen only.
