Nitehawk Diner
Doug Doehrman, Mike Jacka and Kirk Nelson have been playing music together, on and off, since the mid-1970’s. They played around the state of Arizona together in Nitehawk Diner, a country rock band featuring Jacka on fiddle, Doehrman taking most of the lead vocals and rhythm guitar, and Nelson on lead guitar.
Jacka began playing fiddle at age 13. He was the Arizona State Champion Trick and Fancy Fiddler during the time of Nitehawk Diner. Doehrman was the voice of Nitehawk Diner, and Nelson was the bands featured guitar soloist and often joined up with Jacka on twin leads that were featured in many country rock songs at the time.
The band still gets together annually in various forms after having lost their original drummer and bass player, while Doehrman, Jacka and Nelson also enjoy performing as a trio.
Mark Stiekman and Friends
Mark Stiekman is a guitar-playing singer-songwriter with a unique collection of original songs and covers, influenced by the acoustic songwriters of the past and a nod to his rock 'n' roll roots. His music truly comes to life with his band, "Mark Stiekman & Friends," featuring Jeff Felske, Steve Decker, and Trent O'Brien.
