Every person has at least one compelling story to share about meaningful memories and life experiences. But writing an engaging memoir is more than preparing a factual account of people, places, and events. Done well, it is a cathartic artform where the writer bares his or her heart and soul and leads the reader on an engaging odyssey.
In this three-part creative writing class, author and instructor, Mark Johnson, will lead a group of six to eight aspiring writers on a creative journey to begin to write their own memoirs.
Workshop Dates: January 17, January 24, and January 31.
Space is limited / No registration.
To attend: please show up thirty minutes prior to start time first session to receive a ticket. The ticket secures your place in the workshop for all three sessions.
