All ages welcome to enjoy Arouna, a 12th-generation musician, storyteller & instrument builder, plays balafon, ngoni, kora, & djembe. He & his wife, Zaza perform a tradition of folk songs reflecting on topics from war to building love in their native language Bambara. They sing with spirit, nostalgia, & great joy. They offer a repertoire full of intricate rhythms and improvisational prowess.
