All ages are welcome to enjoy the unique folk songs performed in Arouna's native language Bambarra, with traditional instruments. Arouna and his wife sing with spirit and great joy.

All ages welcome to enjoy Arouna, a 12th-generation musician, storyteller & instrument builder, plays balafon, ngoni, kora, & djembe. He & his wife, Zaza perform a tradition of folk songs reflecting on topics from war to building love in their native language Bambara. They sing with spirit, nostalgia, & great joy. They offer a repertoire full of intricate rhythms and improvisational prowess.
