AuditoriumMaster Docent Joyce Durham presents "STOLEN" a discussion of missing masterpieces.
Art theft is rampant; its cost is 10 billion dollars annually. We will look
at several cases of art theft. How did the thieves get into the museum
and steal the art? How did the art squad catch the thieves – if they did,
and was the artwork recovered?
Joyce Durham grew up in Omaha Nebraska, attending Nursing School and became a Family Nurse
Practitioner in 2001. Moved to Mesa AZ in 1991 and doesn’t plan on leaving AZ.!
Joyce has always been interested in Art and joined the Docent Program in 2010. She is on many
committees for the docents. Much of her service is through the Outreach Program, taking
visual presentations to schools and organizations on a vast variety of art related topics.
