Based on the Arizona Early Learning Standards for Math and Science, this six-week course explores concepts and introduces strategies you can use with your child to help build and strengthen their mathematical and scientific thinking skills. Registration required. Registrants are expected to attend all six weeks.
The Fun with Math and Science curriculum consists of 6 sessions. Session 1: Exploration and Our 5 Senses; Session 2: Counting and Comparing; Session 3: Geometry and Identifying Attributes; Session 4: Sorting and Classifying through Investigation; Session 5: Patterning, Sequencing and Making Observations; Session 6: Measurement, Hypothesizing and Experimenting.
