Learn more about writing from Scottsdale Community College faculty.
In this workshop, writers will read and discuss various short stories with a special focus on plotting and characterization. With the knowledge gained through collaboration and conversations, writers will brainstorm a shared story and outline their own piece.
Kim Sabin writes things, and rewrites things, and teaches people how to put words together at Scottsdale Community College where she serves as English and Creative Writing Faculty. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Antioch University Los Angeles. Her work has appeared in Lunch Ticket and Hags on Fire and she is currently revising her first YA manuscript. When she isn't grading papers or having conversations with fictional characters, Kim enjoys reading, practicing yoga, and hanging out with her husband and their lovely YA daughter.
