Memorial Monday Film Series: The Hurt Locker

Jeremy Renner heads the cast of this Oscar-winning war drama about a trio of soldiers who specialize in dismantling improvised explosive devices in Baghdad. These three members of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal squad must put their fear and their personal beefs aside to keep themselves from going to "the hurt locker," the nickname soldiers have for where you recuperate after being injured in an explosion. Kathryn Bigelow's direction and Mark Boal's screenplay also won Oscars.
