The book that we'll be discussing for September will be Cormac McCarthy's "The Road", a 2006 post-apocalyptic novel from the author who wrote the critically acclaimed "Blood Meridian".

Meet at the Mustang library every 3rd Monday of the month for the Unexpected Realities Book Club! We'll read and discuss books that cover sci-fi, dystopia, post-apocalypse, cyberpunk, fantasy, horror, magical realism, or even just extraordinary events! Read about everything from the strange and doubtful to the fantastic and unbelievable.
