Grow your business by having the federal government as your customer!
Before the Basics, Getting Started in the Federal Government is Part 1 of a two-part series - a learning workshop (Part 1) and a hands-on lab (Part 2) where you apply what you learn in Part 1 to your business. In this first session, the learning workshop, you get the information you need to get started with government contracting; from knowing YOUR business to how the government sees YOU, and, more importantly, how to get PAID!
By the end of the learning workshop, you will be able to:
* Be prepared to search for business opportunities in the US Federal Gov't market.
* Obtain your DUNS Number to qualify for opportunities
* Register for credentials to search for opportunities
* Register for the System for Award Management (SAM)
* Follow a process to investigate opportunities
