A look at the past 25+ years of the Preserve and its keeper, the Conservancy.

It seems like only yesterday that a small group of Scottsdale citizens decided to get involved and actively pursued the idea of land preservation. Mike Nolan, former Scottsdale mayor Sam Campana and Christine Kovach will resurrect those days of the early 1990s, and explain how the Preserve and the Conservancy came about.  McDowell Sonoran Conservancy stewards and the general public are invited to reminisce and celebrate our joint stewardship of Scottsdale's crown jewel, the McDowell Sonoran Preserve.

Sam Campana, Christine Kovach and Mike Nolan will tell this story for us to remember, but also for us to look at a bright future for the Preserve.
