This photography exhibition addresses identity and portraiture by photographer artists in Arizona.
Photography in Translation is a photography exhibition by Arizona artists and photographers who are navigating what it means to live in America, with family and traditions originating outside the country. Their artwork attempts to translate their inner voice to communicate with contemporary society, through thoughtful imagery, utilizing unconventional photography techniques and presentations that address language and the self, translation, identity, and portraiture. Co-curated with award winning Phoenix artist and photographer, Claire A Warden.
