This talk will outline the planning, construction, and significance of Scottsdale's 1968 Bennie Gonzales-designed City Hall and, also, the surrounding Scottsdale Civic Center. Scottsdale City Hall, an innovative departure from traditional halls of municipal governance, was listed on the Scottsdale Historic Register in 2023.
