McDowell Sonoran Conservancy / PastFinders
There are many unusual ways in which humans end up ten toes in the air in the middle of the Sonoran Desert. This presentation and audience discussion provides information on how to deal with rattlesnakes, Gila monsters, scorpions, mountain lions, bees, heat stroke, hypothermia and the occasional hostile cactus, just to name a few. The speaker and audience discuss appropriate ways to respond, so that desert enthusiasts can come away with nothing more than a great story.
